Audison APK165 Prima 6.5 Inch Component Speakers

Two way system features AP 1 tweeter and AP 6.5 woofer. APCX TW crossover features a two-position level selector providing the ability to adapt its response to its two main applications: +2dB if installed behind the OEM grille, 0dB for an A-pillar installation without additional grilles between the tweeter and the listener. To ease the installation in OEM placements the woofers are equipped with high current fast-on terminals with double contact on positive and negative poles for high flexibility and quick connection.

  • AP 1 tweeter with 26 mm diameter diaphragm combined with a wide-roll surround provides maximum efficiency and reduced resonance frequency.
  • AP 1 tweeter with an acoustic lens designed to compensate for and fine-tune the in-car frequency response anomalies in the 10kHz – 13kHz bandwidth caused by restrictive OEM grilles in critical OEM placements.
  • APCX TW very compact tweeter passive crossover optimized for OEM Integration featuring an attenuation switch (0 dB, +2dB) to tune the in-car response according to different installation conditions.
  • Passive crossovers are supplied with fast-on connectors that conform to OEM integration. The ends, different in each of the two poles, eliminate any possible connection errors and speed up the required installation time.
  • AP 6.5 woofer with 32 mm pure copper voice coil, for high power handling and outstanding low-frequency control.
  • AP 6.5 woofer with a water-repellent treated paper cone, featuring a profile developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimized with the Klippel Scan Vibrometer.
  • AP 6.5 woofer with reduced mounting depth, providing ease of installation in OEM placements.
  • AP 6.5 woofer with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) edge, featuring the unique “triple wave” profile for maximum linearity of excursion.
  • AP 6.5 woofer with compact basket, protected by abrasion-resistant and scratch-proof coating, the motor affixed with damping epoxy adhesive.
  • AP 6.5 woofer with a high current fast-on terminal with double contact on positive and negative poles for high flexibility and quick connection. The terminal features a temperature-resistant plastic cover, protecting it against accidental short circuits.
  • Developed with the KLIPPEL suite.

Standard Shipping

We offer a $15 flat rate Australia-wide shipping service, no matter how many items, however large or heavy items may incur a higher freight charge. If your item is subject to additional freight charges, this will be communicated to you when your order is processed. You are able to cancel your order and receive a full refund if you do not accept the additional freight charges. If any damage occurs during shipping, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify us within 24 hours of the order arriving. This is a requirement of our freight insurance and we are unable to lodge any claims after 24 hours from delivery.

Express Shipping

For express shipping, we offer a $30 flat rate Australia-wide shipping, however, larger/heavier items and remote areas may incur additional/higher fee which will be communicated with you at the time of processing your order.

In-store pickup

Any order can be picked up in-store, located at 9 Strathaird road Bundall 4217, during our regular business hours for no freight or handling fees. We request 2-4 business to process the order but often will have it ready in less time. For security reasons, when picking up in-store you must present photo ID if you have paid online via credit card. The card holder must be the person picking up the order.

P.O. Boxes and Parcel Lockers

Unfortunately, GCCS are unable to ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers for insurance reasons at this time, an alternate shipping option may be offered. Additional fees may be applicable.

International Addresses

GCCS do not ship internationally at this time.

Warranties, Returns and Refunds

All products sold by GCCS come with a minimum 12 month warranty as stipulated by Australian consumer law. If your product is defective please contact us to organise the return of the item. All products are sent back to the manufacturer for assessment and either repair or replacement. Manufacturers can take up to four weeks for goods to be repaired. All goods are subject to the manufacturers terms and conditions for repair or replacement. Please contact us for further information. Any unopened item can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund less 20% re-stocking fee and freight costs. If the item has been opened, unpacked or used please advise us to discuss options. GCCS will pay freight charges on any orders returned if the order is the result of our error. Refunds are paid back to you by the same method of payment for that order. Refunds can take 48-72 hours after the item has been received by our store. To organise the return of an item, please contact us before sending the item to ensure prompt service.
