The inclusion of convenient hard keys on top for volume and mute control also helps make life that little easier. Thanks to our highly successful “Floating/Separable” screen design, you have the ability to mount the unit in a wide selection of positions to ensure the perfect look for your vehicle. Also supporting our “Light and Dark” GUI options and new high proximity panel construction, helps to ensure not just the best picture quality but also a wide viewing angle is achieved. The new Pioneer GUI also supports customizable shortcut keys allowing quick access to key functions of the unit.

The new Pioneer 10.1″ HD (1,280 x 720 pixels) capacitive screen is able to produce high-definition images. Utilising a high brightness display and high proximity panel construction allows for a bright easy to read display with wide viewing angle.

SPLIT SCREEN FOR APPLE CARPLAY

You can now display Apple CarPlay and the receiver’s menu at the same time on one screen. This function is useful such as when you want to operate the music (i.e. Radio or USB) while looking at the map screen.

IMPROVED BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI CONNECTIVITY

Improved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity have been achieved to provide users with clearer hands-free calling, improved sound quality when streaming music with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto as well as ensuring a more stable connection.

“FLOATING/SEPARABLE” DISPLAY

The design of the SPH-EVO107DAB structure is unique, combining a universal 1-DIN size chassis with a large 10.1-inch display that can be configured for installation either as a floating mount type applicable to most vehicles1 or as an in-dash flush mount type in specific compatible vehicles2. When installed as a floating mount type, the screen offers horizontal, vertical and tilt adjustability to ensure the best fit and usability in the vehicle’s dash.

SELECTABLE VIEWING MODES

Light / Dark mode for enhanced visibility – By changing the colours of the UI background and text, visibility and legibility can be optimized based on the ambient light conditions, such as day or night. Light mode is intended to reduce the effect of ambient light reflections in bright conditions (daytime), while Dark mode may help to reduce screen glare in dark conditions (night time). Light / Dark mode can be selected manually or set to automatically correspond to the time of day and/or illumination settings of the vehicle.

WEBLINK® & WEBLINK® CAST

WebLink® 3.0 enables a compatible smartphone with the WebLink Host app installed to display and control compatible third-party applications from the in-dash receiver touchscreen4. WebLink compatible apps provide services such as turn-by-turn navigation (i.e. Waze®), point of interest information and reviews, restaurant reservations, music entertainment, and more5. WebLink enables this Pioneer receiver to deliver a modern infotainment system.

Additionally, with the built-in WebLink® Host application and a USB connection, drivers can also use the WebLink® Cast feature to mirror and interact with their iOS or Android smartphone’s screen on the receivers’ displays and access virtually all the same powerful navigation, communication, productivity and entertainment apps on a bigger screen and driver-friendly format.

PxLink APP

With the new Pioneer “PxLink” smartphone app users can customize the display on their compatible multimedia receiver including adding your own background image, perform OTA (Over The Air) firmware updates, customise “Shortcut” key layout, other App launching as well as control you compatible AV receiver from your smartphone. Pioneer is putting the control in your hands!

2 x PHONE FULL-TIME BLUETOOTH CONNECTION

You can now simultaneously connect and control 2 x smartphones via Bluetooth. The auto connection function automatically pairs the two phone so incoming calls can be picked up by either of the paired phones. No more having to pair and un-pair devices. Bluetooth Audio Streaming (A2DP, AVRCP 1.6) makes it possible to display information embedded in songs.

DUAL REVERSE CAMERA INPUTS

Reversing can be a stressful experience. The dual camera inputs allow you to connect a reverse camera as well an optional camera for improved safety (visibility of hazards) and peace of mind. Particularly helpful when parking your vehicle or towing.
